Ron Paul in Alaska Before Super Tuesday
Dr. Ron Paul, 2012 Republican Presidential candidate is the only candidate to take the effort to visit Alaska in person before the state’s caucus on March 6th and is venturing as far north as Fairbanks, Alaska, on Sunday, March 4, 2012 before visiting Anchorage. The Gold Room of the Westmark Hotel on Noble Street is the location of the one o’clock town hall type event in Fairbanks. By six o’clock that evening, he is to appear at Dena’ina Civic and Convention Center at 600 West 7th Avenue in Anchorage before heading back to the lower 48.
“Dr. Paul is excited to be returning to Alaska and hopes his visit will help to energize voters who care about the message of liberty ahead of the caucus on Tuesday,” says Gary Howard, National Press Secretary for Ron Paul 2012.
Paul supporters have been active in Alaska, and have a campaign office located at 7926 Old Seward Highway, Suite C8 in Anchorage. Organizers have asked for volunteers to man the phones to help them spread the word about the March 6th Alaska Caucus. Registered Republican voters will be able to choose between the four Republican candidates that have been selected by the Alaska GOP Party.
According to his official campaign website “Dr. Paul is the only candidate with a plan to cut spending and truly balance the budget. This is the only plan that will deliver what America needs in these difficult times: Major regulatory relief, large spending cuts, sound monetary policy, and a balanced budget.”
